Domestic violence cuts across all boundaries of culture, education, ethnicity, religion, income and age. Battering may be physical, sexual, psychological or emotional. It is always harmful. Established in 1982, Shelter's Right Hand is the non-profit fundraising support group for the Women's and Children's Crisis Shelter, which has been serving victims of domestic violence since 1977.
